TOP 10 RARE AND MOST VALUABLE MODERN DIME
Modern means 1965 and up. 1964 was also the last
year the silver dimes were made.

1. 1975 - NO S mintmark - Only two examples of the
1975-S No S Dime are known.
​
2. 1968 10C No S (Proof) - About 12 known
​
3. 1983 10C No S, DC (Proof) - About 1000 known
​
4. 1965- struck on the silver planchet. You will be able to
see the silvery white appearance, look at the rim of the
coin, and weight. It should weigh 2.5 grams
(regular clad coin- 2.27 grams).

5. 1966 - struck on the silver planchet. You will be able to

8. 1982 10C No Mintmark - Strong (Regular Strike)
-The 1982 No P Dimes were originally discovered
in December of 1982. Most of the coins were initially
found in Sandusky Ohio, where approximately 8,000
to 10,000 coins were reportedly found. Coincidentally,
there were two different varieties discovered for the
1982 No P Dimes. The first was the sharply struck
examples, while the second variety displayed a much
weaker strike. Since there is a Strong and Weak
variety known from two different dies, it is estimated
that no more than 150,000 of these coins exist.
About 15,000 are known.

9. 1996-W 10C (Regular Strike)- Semi-key date.
The 1996-W Roosevelt Dime is the first United States
dime which contained a "W' mint mark.

10. 1999 Lincoln Cent/Roosevelt Dime Reverse and
Struck on a Cent Planchet -1 Known.
​
11. Two-tailed dime - Struck on a copper-nickel clad
dime planchet, the mule error struck with two Roosevelt
dime reverse dies - 1 known.
12. 1995 P- mule cent obverse. It has a 1995 lincoln cent
obverse and a dime reverse. The coin will have the
same color and weight as a normal Roosevelt dime.
